Aberdeen Airport is the third largest airport in Scotland, located just 5 miles northwest of the city of Aberdeen. The airport was opened in 1934 with the intention of linking northern parts of Scotland with London in the south of England. Please note that for security reasons, the blue badge (previously orange badge) scheme does not operate at this airport, and all travellers are advised to purchase a parking ticket, regardless of their status.
